Daytime Emmy-winning host John Cena was thrilled to learn that Hulu aired a sequel to Vacation Friends on Wednesday after it became the platform’s most-watched original film.
“An amazing response to an incredibly funny movie!” the 44-year-old WWE fighter, who has 83.2 million followers on social media he tweeted.
“This weekend #VacationFriends became the most watched original movie on @Hulu ever.”

John’s co-star Lil Rel Howery took to Instagram on Wednesday to celebrate and thank everyone who saw Vacation Friends over the weekend.

Vacation Friends includes Yvonne Orji, Meredith Hagner, Andrew Bachelor, Lynn Whitfield, Robert Wisdom, Tawny Newsome, Kamal Bolden, Barry Rothbart and Anna Maria Horsford.
Currently, the funny film has a critical approval rating of 60% (out of 57 reviews) and a lousy audience rating of 49% (out of more than 100 ratings) on Rotten Tomatoes.
