The Baltimore Ravens saw one of their worst nightmares come true Saturday night, as runner JK Dobbins was pulled off the field during the first quarter of the team’s 37-3 win over Washington Football. Team in week 3 of the 2021 preseason. The runner was unable to gain weight on his leg after grabbing a screen pass and being hit low, immediately grabbing his knee.
After the game, head coach John Harbaugh offered an injury update to Dobbins, but it wasn’t a big deal, saying the sophomore will be tested tomorrow and then see where he is at the time.
“Tomorrow it will be put to the test and we will see where we are, right now.”

Dobbins ’injury didn’t look good at first glance. However, with a lot of unknown data, it’s not at all clear how long Dobbins will stay, whether it’s a few weeks, months or the entire season. Losing the emerging star for any length of time would be a big blow to Baltimore’s offense, but the team has a lot of depth to help pick things up in absentia, including Gus Edwards, Ty’Son Williams , Nate McCrary and Justice Hill.
