Yes Red Dead Redemption 3 is in the works, Rob Wiethoff, the actor behind John Marston, is out of the loop. This October will mark three years since the launch of Red Dead Redemption 2. So far nothing has been known Red Dead Redemption 3, and rumors are that Rockstar Games is working hard Grand Theft Auto VI. If this is the case, it will be a while before you see it RDR3, and that makes sense. Eight years separated the release of Red Dead Redemption and its sequel. If this pattern is repeated, we will not see it Red Dead Redemption 3 until 2026, or in other words, five more years.
That said, Weithoff was recently asked if he would like to return to a third game in the series. As expected, he would love it, but right now Rockstar Games hasn’t gotten to play.
“If they ask me, of course, I will,” Weithoff said. “If they don’t, I’m sure it’s going to be a fantastic, fantastic game, just like the other two. If it was just for me, in a second.”
In the same interview, Weithoff notes that he loves working with Rockstar Games and reveals that he would take on any role, big or small.
“If Rockstar called me and said,‘ We have a role for you, it’s not [Red Dead Redemption], you won’t be John Marston. “A big or small story, totally different, would do it. I’d love to do it, I love work, I love people.”
I like GTA 6, Red Dead Redemption 3 it’s inevitable, and it would assume that the game won’t stray too far from the history of Van der Linde’s gang, which means, of course, that Marston should exist with some ability.
That said, as always, feel free to leave a comment or two or 77 to let us know what you think or alternatively receive me on Twitter @Tyler_Fischer_ and let me know over there. What do you want to see? Red Dead Redemption 3? Should John Marston return?
