John Stamos shares a hospital selfie after surgery

Have mercy!

John Stamos revealed that he is recovering from elective surgery to fix his trigger finger.

The “Full House” star let fans know she had performed the “quick” procedure by sharing a photo of herself with all the surgical equipment: a hair net, a purple robe and a black mask.

“Damn #Triggerfinger! I did a quick elective procedure: get in and out, “said Stamos, 58, pictured Friday.” Thanks to the doctors and nurses who treated me so well. I’ll be lifting and playing the drums in no time. .Thanks for the wishes. Xo “.

Stamos also added a close-up photo of his hand with a faded marker on the tips and a large white bandage covering his palm.

According to Mayo Clinic, the trigger finger, also known as stenotic tenosynovitis, is a condition in which the fingers get trapped in a bent position. Unfortunately for Stamos, it is common for people involved in jobs or hobbies that require a repetitive grip, such as playing musical instruments such as guitar or drums.

It is unclear which procedure Stamos underwent, but according to the Mayo Clinic, surgical treatment usually consists of a small incision at the base of the affected fingers, where the doctor can open the restricted part of the tendon sheath.

Prior to elective surgery, Stamos spent the summer touring with The Beach Boys where he sang backup, played guitar and also played drums for the band.

“I am always grateful to the guys from @thebeachboys and @mikeloveofficial for touring me this summer. I can’t wait until we do it again, ”he captioned a video summary of his time on stage with the band.

Stamos is married to Caitlin McHugh, 35. The couple married in 2018 and welcomed their first child, their son Billy, the same year.
