Queer eye star Jonathan Van Ness recently shared that he received the first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine. In accordance with GENTVan Ness, who has been open about his HIV status, revealed he was eligible to receive the first dose of the vaccine in New York after the state introduced new eligibility releases. On Instagram, the Netflix personality shared a photo of him taking the vaccine and encouraged others to see if they could receive theirs as well.
Van Ness wrote on Instagram that he has been working with New York State in order to expand its vaccination program to include more people with pre-existing diseases such as HIV. He noted that being HIV-positive is one of the pre-existing conditions that allows one to be vaccinated against COVID-19. As a result, he urged his followers to examine the pre-existing condition guidelines in their respective states to see if they can get the first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine. He Queer eye The star wrote, along with a photo of her (with two masks) as she took the dose of the vaccine: “If I hadn’t been searching online every day, I wouldn’t have seen it, so you should participate in your search. “This was my first shot and apart from the minor pain in my arm, it had no side effects and I will get my second shot in a few weeks.”
“Each state has different guidelines, so you’ll want to examine your own,” Van Ness continued. “You definitely need patience, resolution, internet access to do it, please, if you can help others get information or access it, please. Hugs and happier Monday. I also know my strongest mask I should go under it, but I don’t want to take off the mask to put on my stronger bottom, so I just put them on layers as it was!
GENT He noted that New York individuals with underlying health conditions have been eligible to receive the first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine since Feb. 15. “We are committed to vaccinating the most vulnerable vulnerable populations as we distribute a strictly limited supply of vaccines and people with comorbidities are 94 percent of the state’s COVID deaths,” the Nova governor previously announced York, Andrew Cuomo. “Therefore, we will open eligibility to people with comorbidities from February 15 and give hospitals the opportunity to use additional doses they have to care for this population.”
