ORCHARD PARK, NY – The Buffalo Bills held the lead Saturday over the Indianapolis Colts in a 35-yard pass in the fourth quarter in their AFC wildcard game.

It was Allen’s third 30-yard aerial finish Saturday. It is the first time Allen has completed three passes of more than 30 yards in a single game.

The Bills advanced early on an Allen pitching throw to tight end Dawson Knox.

In the second and 3 of the Colts ’3-yard line, Allen grabbed what looked like a designed run, but was quickly found by Indianapolis defenders Tyquan Lewis and Anthony Walker. Allen climbed to his right and stood up long enough to see Knox wide open in the end zone. As they carried him to the ground, Allen threw the ball at Knox, who caught it without anyone around him.

Allen was electric on the unit, fighting 12 yards for a first down before hitting Diggs for a 36-yard gain on the next play. Diggs was hit almost immediately after the catch, but hung up to secure the Bills to the Colts’ 37-yard line. Allen completed 5 of 7 passes to the unit for 67 yards and the scoreboard.
