Josh Jacobs says he loves the Raiders for his “fighting spirit”

The Raiders spent two very intense days in Southern California, practicing with the Rams before the teams played a preseason game on Saturday. Each session was marred by fights and the practice ended early Thursday after a punch was given.

But coach Jon Gruden said the team had quality reps in the middle of every fight. In addition, a football team can learn a lot about itself when the blow turns into strokes outside of football.

After Thursday’s practice ended, Raiders runners-up Josh Jacobs tweeted a simple message, obviously related to the events during practice that day and the companionship of his team.

Durant post-practice media availability, Jacobs confirmed that his tweet was about the Raiders ’fights on the field with the Rams and delved deeper into his point, even casting some shadow in the Rams’ way.

“Definitely. If you look at our guys and see how we reacted and see their guys and how they let some things happen, I mean … I like that our team had a fighting spirit and not only that, but they supported each other. ” .

Will the Rams take note of this comment? They’ll probably let the Raiders know on Saturday if they did.

Clearly, the Raiders ’goal is not to fight with the opponent, especially during the regular season. But with these fights that occur during practice, they at least became stronger as a group. Or, rather, he confirmed that they will always have the back of their fellow Raiders on top.
