Cris Tales, Modus Games ’next JRPG love letter, will now be released on Switch and other platforms this July.
Originally planned to be released in November, the game was rolled back to ensure that developers had “a chance to bring the best version” to fans waiting for its release. The new news from the July 2021 release window is accompanied by a charming new trailer that shows just a few of the local settings you’ll explore in the game.

Cris Tales is a JRPG that helps the era, where the past, present and future come together on one screen. Players can use Crisbell’s amazing ability to slide between time periods to help citizens through the kingdoms of Crystallis and perform surprise attacks on enemies. If Crisbell wants to save his magical world from the evil that threatens him, he must make use of his power to shape the past, present, and future by gathering allies to help him in his quest.
