Kate Beckinsale was reportedly rushed to a Las Vegas hospital on Friday due to a back injury.
The 48-year-old actress, who is in Sin City filming her new film, “The Prisoner’s Daughter,” began complaining that her back came out around 10:30 a.m. local time, according to TMZ.
She is reportedly still in the emergency room and being monitored by doctors.
A Beckinsale representative did not immediately return Page Six’s request for comment.
The star of British origin has not yet commented on his hospitalization on social media.
Her most recent Instagram post was shared on Thursday and features an open-legged attitude in Beckinsale while wearing a flowing white suit and black combat boots. He subtitled the photo “Vaja #Vegas”.
The details of how Beckinsale hurt herself are still unknown and it doesn’t look like her new film is too full of action like “Underworld,” one of her previous films.
“Prisoner’s Daughter” is a drama in which the Beckinsale character struggles to reconnect with his father after serving 12 years in prison, according to Deadline.
TMZ reported that Beckinsale has been in Las Vegas just one week for the film.
The star “Serendipity” has no history of serious health problems.
In fact, in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, she and her daughter, Lily Sheen, spent two separate years taking extra precautions and not spreading the deadly virus.
Sheen is the only son of Beckinsale. His father is “Prodigal Son” actor Michael Sheen, with whom Beckinsale dated for eight years before separating in 2003.
Although Beckinsale is single now, she was last linked to “SNL” actor Pete Davidson.
