Keke out, questionable King for the NFC title game

The Green Bay Packers included just two players with injury designations in the team’s final injury report before the NFC championship game.

Defender Kingsley Keke will miss his third straight game due to a concussion, while cornerback Kevin King appears to be questionable after suffering a back injury this week. King did not practice on Friday.

Coach Matt LaFleur said he will give King, a corner kicker, the rest of the week to get ready to play.

“Hopefully it goes well on Sunday,” LaFleur said Friday.

King did not play in the first meeting with the Buccaneers. The Packers had just added veteran cornerback Tramon Williams to the training roster, adding another layer of depth to the position he would reach on Sunday. If King is unable to leave, Josh Jackson and Ka’dar Hollman are available and Williams could be removed from the training squad.

Not having Keke again is a hard blow, considering what he could have provided as an inside runner against Tom Brady. Snacks Harrison will likely be active again on Sunday.

The LaFleur team received a lot of good news. Kicker Mason Crosby has no injury designation and will play against the Buccaneers. He injured his shoulder from an extra point missed during last week’s win over the Rams. The Packers will also have runner AJ Dillon, who is suffering a quad injury but has no injury designation for Sunday.

Winger Krys Barnes (thumb) and runner Jamaal Williams (ankle) will also play, both new additions to this week’s injury report.

The Buccaneers ruled out receiver Antonio Brown and listed new security player Antoine Winfield Jr. as questionable.
