Kelly Clarkson has been excited to sing backup for DeSz all season The voice, and the end of season 19 on Tuesday, finally got its wish.
Texas-born divas took to the stage for an absolutely epic duet, showing off their powerful voices in a rendition of Chaka Khan’s “I’m Every Woman”.
“What singer who likes to regret not wanting to sing“ Am I every woman? ”Kelly excited before the performance.“ I think we are also very powerful and confident women. I thought it was the perfect song. “
“No other song would have fit more perfectly at this point,” DeSz agreed as they took to the stage.
During Monday’s live show, DeSz surprised viewers and their coach once again with an unexpected cover of Fleetwood Mac’s “Landslide” and a simple, original move, “Holy Ground,” which made Kelly I broke down in tears.
“I needed this song. I know I needed this song,” he praised. “You’re the greatest vocalist I’ve ever worked with on this show. You have crazy talent. I’m very proud to be your coach.”
DeSz is surprised Voice fans throughout the season: from his 4-chair performance of Blind Audition, Toni Braxton’s “Unbreak My Heart” to his soulful Knockout Round rendition of Tevin Campbell’s “Can We Talk” and his Top 9 cover of “Don’t Let” by En Vogue Go (Love) “- and now has a chance to win the fourth coach Voice championship!
