Kelly Clarkson is lowering the price of the Tennessee house she shared with former Brandon Blackstock for more than half a million dollars, according to The Post exclusively.
The property, which has been listed since 2017, was last listed in February 2020 for $ 7.5 million. On January 6, the list changed to $ 6.95 million.
Clarkson, 38, bought the seven-bedroom, nine-bathroom home in 2012 for just $ 2.86 million. The “American Idol” winner included the property five years later after arriving at the Los Angeles concert as the coach of “The Voice.”
The 20,121-square-foot mansion in the Hendersonville suburb of Nashville has generally earned a huge drop in value since it first appeared in the whopping $ 8.75 million.
The house includes an entrance with large double stairs, a home cinema and a bar next to the pool table. The site includes a private pier, a saltwater pool and two spas.
The singer filed for divorce last June and cited irreconcilable differences. She and Blackstock have two children: daughter River Rose, born in June 2014, and son Remington Alexander, born in April 2016.
In December, the “Since U Been Gone” singer accused Starstruck Entertainment, specifically Blackstock and his father, Narvel, of fraud and “illegal services.” Narvel had first sued Clarkson, claiming that the artist owed the management company $ 1.4 million of his “Voice” contract and that he would continue to owe them as long as he appeared on the show. But Clarkson fired back, insisting the Blackstocks were not licensed to act as agents in the state of California, adding that they hid that fact from him while “demanding unconscious fees.”
Bryan Freedman, a lawyer for Starstruck Management Group, said on page six in response, “The job application conveniently ignores the fact that Kelly had her [reps at] CAA licensed talent agency at all times. Although Starstruck Management Group provided talent management services on its behalf, it did so at all times to make CAA its registration agency. ”
In November, Clarkson received primary custody of his children and Blackstock.
