Kevin Hart’s sole personal buyer accused of laundering $ 1 million of the star’s money
Kevin Hart’s personal buyer, Dylan Syer, has been accused of laundering more than a million dollars from the A-list star.
Syer appeared Wednesday in Queens Supreme Court in New York City, where he was charged with theft and nine charges related to his misappropriation of the actor’s funds.
Syer, 29, initially began working with the 41-year-old comedian / actor in 2015, according to Queens County District Attoney Melinda Katz, and did honest work for Hart for a period of time.

Katz said Syer finally used the Philadelphia native’s credit cards to transfer money to his personal accounts, racking up more than $ 1.2 million from Oct. 12, 2017 through Feb. 25, 2019.
Syer, a native of Long Island City, spent money on luxury items such as a painting by artist Sam Friedman; lots of five Patek Philippe watches worth more than $ 400,000, a pair of Louis Vuitton bags and a minimum of 16 Bearbrick collectible dolls, which can range from hundreds to thousands of dollars per doll, and five KAWS collection dolls.
He later showed the articles on his Instagram page. Authorities continued to recover all illegally purchased property in an effort to recover Hart’s losses.
After Syer’s arrest, officers executing a search warrant at his home “confiscated approximately $ 250,000 in cash and property,” according to Katz.
The DA said the defendant used Hart’s credit cards to transfer money to his personal accounts, accumulating more than $ 1.2 million from October 12, 2017 to February 25, 2019.

Katz said a lesson to get out of the case is that “no one is immune to being targeted by fraudsters.”
The DA continued: “The defendant believed he was out of reach and was living his very rich life fantasies. But my team discovered the fake purchases, from the credit card charges the bank was processing, to track FedEx packages delivered to Syer’s home and business.
“Regardless of whether you are a celebrity or not, anyone can be a victim of this type of fraud. It is critical to keep track of your expenses, check credit reports, and diligently store your financial information.
Hart is the father of 15-year-old daughter Heaven and son of 13-year-old Hendrix from her former marriage to Torrei Hart; and his son Kenzo Kash, three, and his daughter with his partner Eniko Parrish, 36.
