It looks like Kingdom Hearts III he could have hidden a teaser in the game that could tell players where the series is going in the future. While the newly discovered information could be related to anything else, what is being described seems to align with what we know about the future of the Kingdom Hearts franchise in general.
Seen on Reddit by user Blubbpaule, it looks like the back of the box of Verum Rex, which is a fictional game that appears inside Kingdom Hearts III, could provide some teasing about where the series is going. For those who finished the whole of Kingdom Hearts III, and its accompaniment Re Mind DLC, Verum Rex ends up playing a pretty important role, as Sora gets trapped in her world. In the events of Kingdom Hearts: Melody of Memory, it is discovered that the name of this world where Sora is located is specifically called Quadratum.

As for how this boxed copy of Verum Rex may bring about the future of the series, it seems to provide some details about Quadratum as a whole. Mentions of the “king of truth” appear on the box and it also seems to encourage players to “get your heart back.” However, this is supposed to refer or not to Sora specifically. Something called “Karma” is also mentioned, but it is not known exactly what that might be. At this point, Kingdom Hearts III he hasn’t been able to say anything about Karma, but if this is really a teaser as we think it is, we could see him mentioned more in future posts.
No matter what the truth, it looks like Square Enix is playing 4D chess again when it comes to telling Kingdom Hearts stories. This is a series that has been playing with its fans for a long time when it comes to building the world, and assuming that this joke means it’s a joke, it’s no wonder this happens again.
The only downside is that, for now, it looks like the next Kingdom Hearts main game could still be quite a long way off. Fortunately, if you haven’t played any entries in the series yet, almost the entire saga will hit PC later this month, March 30th.
