Kyler Murray, Arizona Cardinals QB, returns from ankle injury against Los Angeles Rams

Arizona Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray returned to Sunday’s game against the Los Angeles Rams to start the fourth quarter after coming out early in the first quarter with a right ankle injury.

Backup Chris Streveler took over from Murray until he returned at 14:25 of the game with the Cardinals under 18-7.

Murray left the game after suffering an injury in a sack from Morgan’s defensive liner, Fox Fox, at 12:14 p.m. Murray limped up and went straight to the locker room. Eventually, he returned to the field, tried to get out of the injury and was evaluated in the blue injury store, but returned to the locker room.

Murray touched his left ankle again and warmed up after returning to the sideline, but did not play again until the fourth quarter.

Murray spent time in and out of the locker rooms during the first half and early third quarter. Streveler took over from Murray and threw a touchdown on his first record, but the offense didn’t produce much more.

According to coach Kliff Kingsbury, Murray suffered a “lower leg” injury in the final seconds of last week’s loss to the San Francisco 49ers and said this week that he “felt fine.”
