Larry Ayuso is the new leader of the Santurce Crabs

Continuing with its strategic moves to further strengthen The Crab of Santurce, his administration today announced Elies “Larry” Ayuso as the new leader of the Santurce quintet.

Ayuso, who was assisting past leader Néstor García, begins immediately with a more leading role within the team, which will have its next match this Thursday, August 26 against the Bayamón Cowboys at the Coliseum of Puerto Rico.

Next to Ayuso, also enters the crab technical body the assistant Luis Armando cancel, that counts on vast experience in the Basketball National Superior (BSN) like leader and assistant of different equipment.

“First of all we want to thank the great work and willingness that Néstor Ché García had leading the team in this first stage and that due to future personal and professional commitments will not be able to continue with us, like the assistant Daniel Seoane “Now we come with a renewed technical body, which we know will continue to strengthen the work we are doing,” said the team ‘s general manager, René Morales.

Jonathan Román also joins the crab coaching staff as “Skill Coach”, while shipowner Carla Mas remains as the team’s assistant manager.
