The lleader of an anti-mask group which maintained an iron fight against many of the restrictions against covid-19 in Texas, died as a result of virus after becoming seriously ill and being hospitalized for a month.
Caleb Wallace died last Saturday after being admitted to a Texas hospital, where he was treated for one severe coronavirus, as reported by his wife Jessica Wallace to local media.
The 30-year-old man had three daughters and his wife was expecting a fourth child. “Caleb died in peace. He will always live in our hearts and minds,” expressed Jessica on her social media, As detailed by the newspaper San Angelo Standard-Times.
In early June last year, activist Wallace prepared a mass demonstration in a Texas town, where those present carried placards in opposition to the use of mouthguards and other measures such as closing businesses, in addition they rejected scientific studies on coronavirus and the media of the issue in the media.
Wallace was taken to the emergency room for severe symptoms of covid-19 on July 30 and since August 8 was connected to a mechanical fan that artificially assisted his breathing.
At the beginning, Wallace’s wife reported that he refused to visit a hospital, And began self-medication with large doses of vitamin C, zinc pills and ivermectin, an antiparasitic drug that experts do not recommend to treat coronavirus.
