League Of Legends announces four new champions

Riot Games has released some details on what League Of Legends players can expect in 2021. The big ticket is that four new champions will arrive throughout the year, starting with the same Ruined King this month. In the end, three other new champions will also join, although their identity is still a bit secretive.

Riot says Viego the Ruined King, a junior champion, is the first of the lot to arrive later this month. They have also revealed their skill set and sound, as I guess royalty is usually quite possessive. Viego’s “Sovereign Domination” ability temporarily controls an enemy champion who has helped kill him, giving him access to his objects and abilities.

It also has a camouflaged Black Mou that you can see in the colorful cinematography that Riot released to announce its arrival. You can catch it by wielding the ruined king’s blade in a bit of Riot’s revealing video.

After Viego, Riot hints at the other three new champions who will arrive this year who are part of its history: a magical damage fighter with some sort of sewing theme, an artillery wizard, and a shooter. They will complete the other roles in the League so that no matter how you play, you will need to have a new champion to try out this year.

As for the update, they have shared a bit more about their work to improve the look and skills of Dr. World. If you want to say which champion is playing next year, you can vote for your League client until January 19th. You can vote for Udyr, Shyvana, Nocturne, Skarner or Quinn.

If you are interested in studying about the king’s kit before you arrive, you can find the details at the Riot site.
