Early speculation pointed to an event that happened on March 16; despite this, From Bloomberg Mark Gurman ended the possibility, leaving the door open for an event later in the month. Kang says Apple’s event will be held on the same date as the unveiling of the OnePlus 9, which is scheduled for Tuesday, March 23rd.

Due to the global health crisis, Apple’s event is expected to take place digitally and live through its website and official YouTube channel. March 23 and March 30 are reasonable assumptions for when Apple plans to hold an event. Apple tends to hold events on Tuesday and is also expected to hold an event in “early spring” to coincide with the launch of App Tracking Transparency on iOS 14.5.

Official details about Apple’s event are unknown. However, growing evidence of the imminent release of irAirTags‌ suggests that Apple’s Tile-like tracker could debut in the rumored March 23 event. DigiTimes, and others have also suggested that Apple will launch updated iPad models with mini-LED displays and faster processors during the first half of the year.

Shortly after Kang suggested the March 23 date, Jon Prosser, YouTube personality and Apple loser he tweeted “23”, in an apparent demonstration of support for Kang and his prediction of the date of the event.

Last year, Kang was the first to accurately reveal that Apple planned to revive the MagSafe brand for the iPhone 12, and also leaked exact details and release dates for the full range ‌Iphone 12‌ and the rumored HomePod mini before which were officially announced.
