LeBron James deletes the tweet about Ma’Khia Bryant police shooting

NBA star LeBron James aimed at Ohio police who shot and killed Ma’Khia Bryant, saying, “YOU’RE FOLLOWING” in a deleted tweet since then.

The hoop around the world posted the message on Twitter with a photo of Columbus police officer Nicholas Reardon, identified as the police officer who shot the 16-year-old during a domestic dispute in Ohio City on Tuesday.

“FOLLOW,” he wrote, followed by a drawing of an hourglass. “# ACCOUNTING,” Fox News reported Wednesday.

James later erased it and added as a follow-up: “ENFÀRIA is good for anyone and that includes myself! Collect all the facts and educate yourself! My rage is still here for what happened to that lil girl. My sympathy for his family and for him to impose justice! “

The tweet came after a jury in Minneapolis on Tuesday convicted former police officer Derek Chauvin of murder and manslaughter over the death of George Floyd in police custody.

“RESPONSIBILITY,” James, who has long been a supporter of Black Lives Matter and has spoken on issues of racial justice, has tweeted after the verdict.

Ohio authorities said Wednesday they identified Reardon as the officer who shot Bryant and said state investigators are now investigating the incident.

Police camera footage released by Columbus officials shows Bryant fighting two more girls and throwing one of them at what appears to be a knife in his hand.

That’s when Reardon is seen firing four laps, dropping the teenager to the ground mortally wounded. He later died at a local hospital.
