The coach of León, Ignacio Ambriz, accepted his desire to lead the Mexican team, although he knows that, for now, Gerardo Martino is doing a good job in the Tri.
Ambriz indicated that both being in front of the Tri and leading in Europe are his years that he hopes to fulfill soon.
“I’m interested in my national team, I’m interested. Not today because there is a great coach who is doing very well.” Ambriz said in an interview with Fox Sports.
Nacho indicated that he is not satisfied with just having won a championship, which will continue with more achievements in his career.
“When you win the trophy, they say that you have already graduated, that you have already fulfilled it, but I base it on the work and the passion I have for football.” he added.
Although he accepted that he had won a league title, it will allow him to open the doors not only nationally, but also internationally.
“If this is going to help me be in the coaching elite and be able to open doors for me, everything will be welcome,” he said.
