Following the November 26 elections, the PPD has 26 lawmakers in the House, followed by 21 from the New Progressive Party (PNP), two from the Citizen Victory Movement, one from the Puerto Rican Independence Party (PIP). and a Dignity Project.
Earlier, the Senate chose its new leadership that includes Senator José Luis Dalmau as president and Ponce District Senator Mariyelli González as vice president.
