FLORIDA – If you’re hoping to ring the new year with a fireworks display, News4Jax takes a look at some of the places it plans to light up the sky on Tuesday night.
Downtown Jacksonville
The city of Jacksonville will make a fireworks castle over the St. Louis River. Johns. The observation areas are on the north and south banks of the river, in places like Friendship Fountain, under the Fuller Warren Bridge in Riverside and along the Riverwalk. The show starts at midnight.
Sant Agustí beach
This year’s beach in the park on the pier of Sant Agustí beach will start at 4 pm. The fireworks show kicks off at 8:30 p.m. There will be live entertainment throughout the night. For training, click here.
Fernandina Beach
On Amelia Island, the family-friendly shrimp, ideal for families, will begin at 5 p.m. and be held in Marina’s A&B parking lots on Center Street. People of all ages can enjoy vendors, food, games and live music before the spectacular fireworks.
