“Looks very handsome”: Amarinder Singh contradicts Rahul Gandhi on renovating Jallianwala Bagh memorial | News from India

NEW DELHI: Punjab Chief Minister Amarinder Singh on Tuesday contradicted former Congressman Rahul Gandhi with the renovation of the Jallianwala Bagh memorial in the center.
“I don’t know what has been removed. I find it very nice,” Amarinder Singh said in the renewal, hours after Rahul Gandhi had killed the center for the play.
Earlier, Rahul Gandhi had described the renewal of the Jallianwala Bagh memorial by the government as an “insult to the martyrs”, saying that only a person who does not know the meaning of martyrdom can cause him an insult.
Arriving on Twitter, the former head of Congress labeled a media report on outrage on social media about the alleged changes to the Jallianwala Bagh memorial complex and many claimed he was “destroying history” in the name of the makeover.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday dedicated the renovated complex of the Jallianwala Bagh memorial to the nation.
During the event, Modi also digitally inaugurated the museum’s galleries at the monument. The event also showcased the government’s multiple development initiatives to improve the complex.
