Apple today released the MacOS Big Sur 11.1 to the public a month after the beta releases. The update adds support for the long-awaited App Store privacy labels and Apple News widgets on Airports Max.
Magos 11.1 is Big Sur’s first major update, which Apple released last month with a redesigned interface for all users, control center, new messaging application, Safari upgrades, support for the new M1 Mac and more.
Today’s update adds support for the Airbus Max, as Apple’s new over-the-ear headphones announced last week. Users can now wirelessly connect the Airboat Mac to a compatible Mac and benefit from Adaptive EQ, Active Noise Cancellation, Transparency Mode and Spatial Audio.
With this update, users will now have access to the App Store privacy labels with a detailed report on user data that can be accessed by each application available in the App Store. Additionally, MacOS Big Sur 11.1 comes with new Apple News widgets, the new Apple TV + Tab in the TV app, support for Apple Prora design, and updates for Macs running the M1 chip.
You can now upgrade your Mac to the latest version of MacOS Big Sur by going to the Software Update menu in the System Options application.
