The music video for the musical pamphlet in which Torres appears accompanied by Annie Garcés, Dayana Divo, Karla Monier and Yisi Caliber has not yet reached 100,000 views but already has almost 15,000 “dislikes” and just over 1,500 this Tuesday. I like. Such a proportion is an obvious sign that the official response to the video starring people from the area, Yotuel, Descemer Bé, and the protesting rappers Maykel Osorbo and El Funky, has not exactly aroused the admiration of Cubans.

Armed with a curriculum that includes numerous songs commissioned by the Cuban leadership, Raúl Torres urgently musicalized a poem of his where there are stanzas like this: “Make it profitable to make mud / If you don’t proceed / make good money dead / I hope you have fund / to mortgage your time / because in the Revolution / It has more than 62 millennia left “.

In addition to the usual memes and taunts (some even compare it to the sonic attacks suffered a few years ago by U.S. and Canadian embassies in Havana), the song also garners numerous critical comments. by users of social networks where it has been disclosed.

“Once again a desperate, inefficient and uncreative response,” one opines.

“I’d rather be deaf than listen to this m … again,” is another opinion.

“Realization as original as a CDR guard,” says another.

“Mediocre voices and out of tune for a tube, this song is torture,” writes another commentator.

Almost all opinions are of the same style.

In the meantime, “Homeland and Life“Starring People in the Area, Yotuel, Descemer Bé, and protesting rappers Maykel Osorbo and El Funky, it is already approaching 3 million views and numerous enthusiastic reactions on and off the island.
