A group of Manchester United supporters stormed into the club’s Carrington training ground in protest of the failed plans of a European Superliga before leaving after a conversation with manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
A group of about 20 fans entered the United training ground on Thursday morning with banners that read “Glazers out” and “we decide when to play”.

“At about 9 in the morning [BST on Thursday morning] a group entered the club’s training ground, “a statement from United confirmed.” The manager and others spoke to them. The buildings were safe and the group has now left the site. “
It is understood they also blocked both entries as players and staff arrived to train ahead of Sunday’s Premier League game with Leeds United.
United announced their intention to withdraw from ESL on Tuesday evening following widespread criticism of the controversial plans revealed 48 hours earlier.
President Joel Glazer apologized to fans on Wednesday, but the scheme, seen as a coup by 12 of the world’s most powerful clubs, has revoked petitions to change ownership at Old Trafford.

Earlier this week, Ed Woodward resigned as United’s executive vice president after eight years in the role.
Former JP Morgan investment banker, who succeeded David Gill as head of United’s day-to-day operations in 2012, had planned to step down at the end of the season, sources told ESPN.
