Manchester United signed Kai Rooney, the 11-year-old son of Old Trafford legend Wayne Rooney, from the club’s youth academy.

Kai had been linked with the Manchester City academy when he was 10, but the youngster has now committed to United, where he has a chance to follow in his father’s footsteps.
Senior Rooney became the most expensive teenager in football history when he signed for United on a £ 27million transfer from Everton children’s club in August 2004.
