The county sheriff’s office said on its Facebook page. The employee who was blindfolded and his department truck were later found in Henry County, the sheriff’s office said. On Saturday, around 2:30 a.m. local time, authorities found a Henry County resident who had been building his home by the escapees – around 10:30 a.m. the previous day. Now safe while he was there, the sheriff’s office said the inmate stole the resident’s red 2009 Chevrolet Silverdo extended cab pickup truck. Since the truck had not yet been found, authorities asked residents in the area where the cameras were located to check the truck. Beware, Kentucky State Police are continuing their search, and have advised residents of remote areas of the state to “check their friends and relatives” and report any suspicious activity after detainees have committed robberies and thefts in the area.
