Manny Pacquiao’s wife wrote an emotional message to the legendary boxer after he lost what could have been the last game of his career this Saturday.
“Words can’t express how proud I am of the man you are,” Jinkee Pacquiao wrote on Instagram with a photo of the embracing couple. “We, your family, have seen how much you have worked, sacrificed and given yourself sweat and tears of blood from the beginning when you dreamed of being world champion. Never think about yourself and don’t be afraid to risk your life in the ring over and over again because you like to make people happy.
“Over the years we have become more proud to be by your side as you inspire us to be kind and helpful to everyone.”
Pacquiao, 42, who has been working professionally for 26 years, fell into the hands of Yordenis Ugás in an infamous decision in Las Vegas.
It was Pacquiao’s first fight in two years, the longest dismissal of his career, and is believed to be his last.
“In my heart I want to continue [to] wrestling, ”said Pacquiao, who is expected to announce his plans next month.“ But I also have to consider my body … In this sport, that’s my passion, that’s why I keep fighting here at 42.
