Evan Rachel Wood’s testimony was only one, among those of several ex-partners of the singer who also decided to raise their voices and end years of abuse. The accusations range from physical violence, to psychological abuse, to different episodes in which women suffered major problems because of their relationship with the musician. Continuing your message, Evan shared on his Instagram account a letter from California Sen. Susan Rubio to the attorney general and the director of the FBI, asking them to meet with the victims immediately and follow up on their allegations.. In the first person, Rubio points out that as a survivor of domestic violence she now advocates for women who went through the same thing as her, she knows how difficult it is for them to be created when they narrate what they experienced.
“If these allegations are true, and no investigations are conducted, we will be failing the victims and allowing a possible perpetrator to continue abusing innocent victims. This should not be allowed,” the letter reads.
