Martha Stewart recalled that she was very unhappy that she was not allowed to host Saturday Night Live.
The 79-year-old media personality recently sat down for an interview with Harper’s Bazaar and talked about the circumstances surrounding his arrest in 2004.
The TV host specifically mentioned that he only had one regret for the period and that he was not allowed to organize the long-running comic show.

He blamed the ban on his probation officer, who said he “wouldn’t give me time.”
Stewart lamented the missed opportunity and commented that she was very upset by her parole officer’s decision.
“This has embarrassed me, because I wish I had organized Saturday Night Live. I would like this on my resume,” he explained.
The legal problems of the reality TV personality arose from a 2002 incident in which he engaged in insider trading.

During the interview, he expressed that his life had effectively changed throughout the affair and noted that he does not contemplate the period as a particularly easy time.

Stewart said, ‘I knew I was coming in strong and I’m sure I was coming out stronger … It was a very serious fact in my life. I take it very seriously.
The designer also stated that while she not only had bad feelings about the time, the whole experience would change her for a lifetime.
“I’m not bitter, but … My daughter knows all the problems that resulted from that. There are a lot of things,” he said.
Stewart concluded the interview with advice he wanted to give readers of the article.
