Fans of The Marvel Avengers i just want one thing and it is about to become a reality. No, it is not a significant trap or a surplus of recent activities. Look, well, maybe Avengers fans want more than one thing, but one big thing lands next week – you’ll finally be able to play the campaign.

As you saw Game informant, developer Crystal Dynamics announced the long-awaited change in a recent “War Table” stream. It will be part of next week’s main game update, which will do the same to introduce Clint Barton – the really good one on Avenger darts – on the game list. You will maintain the leveling and equipment. Pour one for the first robots, which are sure to have a worse fate thanks to high-level unibeam refractions.

The Marvel Avengers he has certainly had one rocky six months, largely due to lack of playable content plus a number of delays, including that of next-generation versions. The game’s campaign is certainly the strongest part of the game, however, once completed, there is no way to run these missions again. An opportunity to have it happen again is a blessing all around.

Beyond the ability to play the campaign, next week’s update will also release dedicated versions of PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X / S from The Marvel Avengers, which were delayed last October. Crystal Dynamics has detailed the specifications of these versions in a blog post rather today.

People who already own the game on PlayStation 4 or Xbox One will be able to upgrade at no additional cost within the same console family (so PS4 to PS5 is fine, but PS4 to Xbox Series S is not). You will also be able to make intergenerational matches. There’s no surprise here, but next-generation versions will bring rigorous visual enhancements, including 4K displays on PS5 and Xbox Series X. (It will produce up to 1440p on Xbox Series S.)

In accordance with Game informant, next week’s update will also introduce a new biome, a new villain and a new story (Hawkeye’s), as well as allowing customization of the HARM room, the game’s practice space that allows you to fight waves of increasingly difficult enemies. It will take a heroic effort to save The Marvel Avengers, no doubt, but this update, the most important since the game was released last fall, could be enough to get players to play again.
