Marvel’s Avengers is the straw that broke the camel’s back with upgrades from PS4 to PS5

Marvel's Avengers PS5 PlayStation 5

Poor Marvel sellers don’t know how to stop, right? This week was supposed to be his big next-generation relaunch, with Hawkeye’s new content in time to launch alongside him; instead, all that can be talked about is how bad the PlayStation 5 update procedure is Anyway, we think the hyperbole being shared on social media is overly excessive, but it’s clear that this is an area that Sony could and should improve.

In defense of Square Enix, we had no problem finding the PS5 version on the PS store and download it, which is more than can be said for Yakuza: Like a Dragon and Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time, both in the release from existing PS4 owners. The biggest problem for Marvel Avengers, or certainly what the Internet goat has, is the way the files are transferred.

For those of you who have played games like Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales and Sackboy: A Big Adventure, it’s a familiar process: upload your reservation from the PS4 version and download it to the PS5 version. Viously, obviously, this should be much cleaner (Xbox Series X | S automatically transfers your progress), but we think people who make it a kind of mind-breaking procedure are having fun.

However, we have been waiting for some updates to the PS5 firmware for a long time, which clearly went hot. Overall, we are pleased with many of the features and functions of Sony’s next-generation console, it has only a few obvious quirks that could do with smoothing. We are confident that by the end of the year the system will be in a much more orderly place; in the meantime, be sure to set aside a few extra minutes to transfer your PS4 savings if you plan to play Marvel’s Avengers. .
