The Marvel Avengers it’s a really weird “live service” game.
We are now in this retention period, waiting for Square Enix and company to blink. Avengers it was launched with a lot of problems (prolonged fun was the main problem), and the studio had to take a long time to fix them before all the aforementioned live services were released. Then the delays affect everything else, especially the delay for the “next generation” editions of PS5 and Xbox Series X / S.
So we’re still waiting for all of this to happen. Kate Bishop came out! But the player base was constantly falling when he arrived, so he never got his true moment in the sun. Maybe this PlayStation Plus bonus will help you? I’m not sure anymore.

I think like a lot of people, I hope this update arrives. While the Hawkeye duo probably won’t be enough to convince most people to give it another try (Spider-Man is enough even at this point, especially when you add an exclusivity nonsense?), How at Hawkeye stan, I’ll gladly boot more than once a week (my current schedule) just to see what happens.
