A gunman opened fire on a Texas industrial park Thursday: injuring at least six people before fleeing and causing a manhunt, according to local reports.
Some of the injured were in critical condition, according to local station KBTX.
The shots exploded at the corporate offices of Kent Moore’s offices around 2:30 p.m. in the city of Bryan, on the outskirts of Texas A&M University, between Austin and Houston, Eagle reported.
The suspect was identified by a witness, and area police are now trying to locate the gunman, the newspaper said.
A police chase with gunfire was reported at 3:30 p.m. near the town of Iola, 30 minutes from the crime scene, The Eagle reported. It is unclear if the incidents were related.
The disaster took place near a middle school, which was temporarily placed in a lockdown, according to the local station.
