The fourth installment of the saga Matrix, which will again star Keanu Reeves and directed by Lana Wachowski, will hit theaters later this year and today Warner Bros. has revealed its trailer to the public.
“The Matrix: Resurrection” were presented at the CinemaCon, in Las Vegas in late August, along with a trailer that so far could only be seen here, but this Thursday has already been released. The clip features the character of Neil Patrick Harris talking to Neo (Keanu reeves). Everything points to Neo being trapped in a blockbuster world, just like he did in the first installment.
What will be the plot of the film?
The film contains countless references to “Alice in Wonderland”, including the song “White rabbit” of Jefferson Airplane.
With the enigmatic aroma typical of “The Matrix”, this trailer relapses into themes such as the search for the truth, picks up emblems of the saga such as the choice of the tablet, and insists once again on the most spectacular action.
When will it premiere?
Despite the pandemic its premiere will be in theaters and the date will be December 17 this year.
