Max Scherzer had another magical outing with the uniform of the Dodgers after throwing a pitching gem in his team’s 8-0 win over the San Diego Padres. The opening veteran threw a perfect play until they connected him unstoppably to the eighth inning.
Scherzer who came as a reinforcement to take the place of Trevor Bauer after the suspension against for an issue related to violence and sexual assault, the Dodgers have a better chance of winning the World Series. In his first eight openings with the Dodgers, Scherzer he did something Bauer has never done in his entire career in the grains.
None of the teams that have been Bauer has won eight consecutive games in which he was a starter. Scherzer has been an opener in eight games for the Dodgers and they have won them all. Scherzer’s record in these eight games is 6-0, with a net run average of 0.88, five bases per ball and 72 strikeouts.
