McConnell previously expressed concern about the skepticism surrounding the vaccine earlier in the week.
“When you have about half the population skeptical or you say they won’t, it’s not good news, so I think all of us who have at least some supporters in the country need to step up as the former presidents are and how I’m sure people in the entertainment world will also encourage people to do that, ”he said.
