McDonald’s employee turns 100 and continues to work

Ruth Shuster works at a McDonald’s in Pennsylvania almost three decades ago and recently celebrated her 100th birthday with no plans to retire.

As reported by WSVN, Shuster said that for her it felt like any other Wednesday even though her classmates prepared a birthday party for her.

The woman started working at the fast food restaurant when she was 73 in 1994.

The media claimed that before the pandemic, Shuster helped customers with whatever they needed. Now, cover what you can and help raise the morale of other employees.

“I became a widow when I was 50 and have worked since then, I like to work,” she said.

Despite the weather and her age, the woman assured that “absolutely” she plans to retire, as she feels lucky to be allowed to remain still at her age.
