Prince Harry and Meghan Markle honored Prince Philip on their foundation’s website on Friday, hours after news broke that Harry’s grandfather had died at the age of 99.
“Thank you for your service,” read a statement on the Archewell Foundation’s website. “You’ll miss him a lot.”

Prince Harry is likely to return to the UK for his grandfather’s funeral, People magazine reported.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, who no longer have active social media accounts, joined the rest of the royal family to remember the Duke of Edinburgh.
The main place of the royal family was darkened shortly after Philip’s death was announced. It also included a photo and a statement on behalf of members of the royal family and Queen Elizabeth, who had been married to Philip for more than 70 years.
“It is with great sorrow that Her Majesty the Queen has announced the death of her beloved husband, Her Royal Highness, Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh,” the announcement read. “His Royal Highness died peacefully this morning at Windsor Castle.”
“Over time more announcements will be made,” the statement continued. “The royal family is united with people from all over the world in mourning for their loss.”

Prince William and Kate Middleton also exchanged their Twitter images and headline photos to mark Philip’s passing, as well as Prince Charles and Camilla, the Duchess of Cornwall’s Clarence House and the royal family’s main account:

The royal family issued guidelines on the Duke’s “modified funeral” due to the coronavirus pandemic and said the media and the public will have more information in the coming days.
