Meghan Markle complains about Piers Morgan to British regulators

Meghan Markle has filed a formal complaint with British broadcast regulators over former Good Morning Britain host Piers Morgan after he claimed he had exaggerated claims about suicidal thoughts and racism in the royal family, according to a report Friday.

“We can confirm the receipt of a rules complaint filed on behalf of the Duchess of Sussex,” a spokesman for the Ofcom government-approved regulatory group said, according to the Daily Mail.

His complaint is one of at least 41,000 received by Ofcom, which is now launching an investigation into Morgan’s comments about the program on Tuesday. They caused an intense shock in the air that led him to leave the program.

Earlier this week, Markle complained to an oncho on ITV, the network behind the show, about Morgan’s comments, including that he “didn’t believe a word” he said about the treatment that made him the British royal family.

Markle stated that he argued with Morgan’s attitude toward mental health in general and not with the attack he personally made after allegations he made about the royal family in an interview with Oprah Winfrey on March 7th.

Morgan left the show on Tuesday after an air showdown with a co-star who criticized him for “destroying” the Duchess of Cambridge and claimed his meat with her was personal, prompting him to Morgan sank.

Morgan later said he lost his job as the show’s host because he refused to apologize for his comments.
