A former aide to Melania Trump – and once a good friend – has written a scathing opinion about the first lady, accusing her of just being by her side while the president was destroying America.
Stephanie Winston Wolkoff wrote her play for The Daily Beast, caused by the riots at the Capitol. Five people were killed, including a Trump supporter who was shot dead and a Capitol police officer who died of head injuries after being attacked in the head with a fire extinguisher.
Wolkoff calls the violence “shocking, horrible, discouraging and shameful.”

Wolkoff talks about how the president’s role in the Capitol attack doesn’t surprise her, but how the first lady’s silence does, even though she’s reading at the best of a teleprompter.
The Trumps, Wolkoff writes, “have no character and no moral compass. While my intentions to support the first lady in developing her initiatives were always pure, I feel discouraged and ashamed to have worked with Melania. ”
Wolkoff, who once kicked off Anna Wintour’s parties, and the first lady became friends almost 20 years ago. It was there that Melania married Donald and was in Barron’s baby shower, The New York Times reported.
She went to work for the first lady shortly after the president’s inauguration, which helped her plan, but resigned just a year later when the Times reported that the inaugural committee had paid millions of dollars to the company. which began.
Wolkoff then left everything on paper and wrote a summary entitled “Melania and I: The Rise and Fall of My Friendship with the First Lady.” The book came out in September. Melania attacked and called her ex-girlfriend a “dishonest opportunist.”
In her opinion, Wolkoff talks about how the first lady will leave behind “no legacy or any profile to be proud of.”
“Melania is no better than Donald in terms of need for attention. He missed the unique opportunity to create a platform to change the lives of so many children and provided none of that. ….
