The Secretariat of Foreign Affairs (SRE) and the National Electoral Institute (INE) will organize one Saturday day Feb. 6 to issue voter credentials to and Mexicans residing in the United States seeking to participate in the upcoming elections in 11 federal entities.

Through a joint statement, they reported that the Mexican consular network in the United States will hold this day at all its consulates in strict compliance with local health regulations. In addition to issuing voting credentials, passports and consular registrations will also be processed.

In the elections of June 6, Mexicans residing abroad for the governorships of Baja California Sur, Colima, Chihuahua, Michoacán, Nayarit, Guerrero, Querétaro, San Luis Potosí and Zacatecas will be able to cast their vote. while for Mexico City they will vote for a migrant delegation and in Jalisco for a proportional representation delegation.
