Former National Security Adviser Michael Flynn, recently pardoned by President Donald Trump, is stepping up his demands for Trump to introduce martial law to prevent President-elect Joe Biden from taking office. During a Thursday night appearance on Newsmax, Flynn insisted that Trump has “military capabilities” to force several states to redo their elections.
“There is no way in the world that we can move forward as a nation. Immediately, by his order, he could seize them all [voting] machines, at his behest, ”Flynn said, citing Trumpworld’s conspiracy theory that voting software turned Trump’s votes around in Biden.
“I could order, within the swinging states, if I wanted to, I could take military capabilities and I could place them in states and basically run elections again in each of those states,” he continued, adding: it has no precedent. These people talk around here about martial law as if it’s something we’ve never done. Martial law has been instituted 64 times.
