Michigan legislator Cynthia Johnson fired from group post after ‘warning’ ‘trumpers’ on Facebook video



A Michigan state legislator has been fired from his team after giving “a warning to you trumpers” in a Facebook video. Cynthia Johnson, a Democrat from Detroit, told viewers, “For those of you who are soldiers, you know how to do it. Do it right. Be orderly. Pay them. I love them all. “Johnson received death threats from Trump supporters after questioning Rudy Giuliani during a recent trial. In a joint statement, Michigan House Speaker Lee Chatfield and incoming Speaker Jason Wentworth – both Republicans – said “threats to Democrats or Republicans are unacceptable and non-American”, but “they still deserve to be elected officials.” Read on.
