Mick Brigden, a music tour manager who toured the world with such legendary artists as the Rolling Stones and Bob Dylan, died at the age of 73.
The UK native was injured while digging a grave for his dog on the property of his home in Santa Clara, Northern California, last week.
He was taken to a local hospital and eventually succumbed to his injuries and died on 5 September. The press Democrat.

Brigden was born and raised in Southend-On-Sea, England, a tourist town on the Thames Estuary in Essex in the south-east of England. He finally left for Canada in 1966, when he was 19, settled in Toronto and worked as a graphic artist.
After meeting Bass bassist and vocalist Felix Pappalardi in the late 1960s, he would retire and move to New York to work as a touring director for hard rockers.
Brigden met his wife and famed rock concert promoter Bill Graham at a concert at the Fillmore West venue in San Francisco in 1969, which led him to work with Graham over the years until his death in 1991. .
Satriani’s working relationship with Brigden began in 1988, when the guitarist was hired to play Mick Jagger’s two solo tours that year. They would end up working together for more than three decades.

“He was the top mentor in the music business. Honest, tough, welcoming, hardworking, respectful, tenacious, insightful, it was all of that and more. I learned a lot about being a good Mick person.
Singer-guitarist Sammy Hagar, who left his mark on rock and roll as a solo artist, as well as with Montrose and Van Halen, commented on Satriani’s Instagram tribute.
“So sad, my first road experience in Montrose Mick took us under his wing because he cared about a humble cake for whom we opened. Nothing but love,” Hagar wrote.
In addition to his wife Julia, Brigden is survived by his son Jack Brigden, his stepdaughter Jessica Merz and his grandson David Merz.
