Mickey Callaway accused of lewd behavior of five women: Athletic

Mickey Callaway, a former New York Mets director and current Los Angeles Angels pitching coach, aggressively harassed at least five women working in sports media, sending three of them inappropriate photos and asking one of them to send nude photos to exchange. He sent them unsolicited emails and regularly commented on their appearance in a way that made them uncomfortable. In one case, he put the crotch on a journalist’s face while she was interviewing him. In another, he told one of the women that if she got drunk with him, she would share information about the Mets.

The five women, who spoke to Athletic on the condition that they not be identified, said the actions of the current Callaway, 45, spanned at least five years, several cities and three teams.
