Fans can submit their best video game ideas and join free coding workshops with Microsoft
Redmond, Wash. – December 14, 2020 – Microsoft Corporation and Warner Bros. form an epic partnership celebrating the release of their new film “Space Jam: A New Legacy” in 2021. This campaign is about Xbox basketball champion and cultural icon LeBron James, the bug bunny and the rest of the Looney Tunes Tune Squad to multiply the symbol education and create the original Xbox arcade-style video game inspired by the movie.
As announced on his Instagram, LeBron and Bucks Bunny are looking for the best video game ideas submitted by fans. From December 14 to December 30, fans 14 and over can visit the official competition website, review the official rules and submit their game ideas. To enter, fans use a key image to select the type of gaming they choose and then describe the game idea in less than 500 words.
Two winners will bring their ideas to life in the official “Space Jam: A New Legacy” arcade-style video game available as a perk for Xbox Game Pass Ultimate members in 2021. Winners will also receive the following prizes: their names featured in game credits; A special winner’s bundle with signed and approved LeBron James Memory, “Space Jam: A New Legacy” items and Nike VIP packages and customized Xbox Series S consoles; A private friends and family screening of the film; And a virtual Microsoft coding workshop for their local community.
To help coders of all ages begin their creativity, Microsoft Stores offers free, virtual workshops on the theme of a kind of “space jam: a new legacy” – video game creation. Using the module-based code on the McCord Arcade platform, students will create a playable prototype of the video game, while learning about the professional skills and steam industries involved in the game. D.There are also two movie-themed Microsoft Learn lessons aimed at more experienced coders, older teenagers, high school and college age students, and adults, focusing on how to use player stats to make real-time decisions in the middle of the game. . The first lesson uses data from human and tune squad basketball players to predict performance appraisals through machine learning and visual studio code. Creating a web application in the second lesson uses real machine learning models in real time, which helps a trainer determine who needs a water break and who should be included in the game to give them more chance to win.
Video game competition, coding workshops and lessons are in line with Microsoft’s initiative for better capability, which aims to help 25 million people – including those with smaller populations – acquire new digital capabilities and use them for their interests.
