A video circulating on social media showed a man shouting at Ibrahimovic a derogatory word for Muslims in Serbia.

“As a club, we have done everything possible to ensure that the organization of the match is at the level of the two major clubs and we will not allow a primitive individual to tarnish the traditionally known hospitality of our country and our people,” the statement said.

“The Red Star, in cooperation with the competent authorities, will find the said individual and insist that he bear all the consequences of this behavior.”

The match ended 2-2 with the Red Star, who had up to 10 men, scoring a goal at the stop to win the tie.

Milan will face city rivals Inter on Sunday in a first-place Serie A match. (It plays live at 9:00 ET on ESPN + in the US).
